MSA welcomes everyone and declare the meeting open.

The agenda is approved after some corrections.
3. Approval of Minutes

The minutes from the Committee meeting held April 2011 are approved with no remarks.
4. Reports
ˇ IOC Sport and Environment, Doha QAT 30 April-2 May 2011
MSA presents a report regarding the major issues from the IOC conference and emphasised the
upcoming awareness concerning the sustainability of sports events.
The World Gymnaestrada 2011 Organising Committee has a dedicated team to work on this field
and has already developed an important role of sustainability.

ˇ Council meeting, San Jose USA May 2011
MSA presents a report regarding the major issues of the Council meeting. All subjects presented to
the Council regarding the World Gym for Life Challenge were very well received and everything got
the support and formal approval by the FIG Council.
Before the Council meeting MSA and other FIG representatives met with Steve Penny USA
Gymnastics about the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association. This organisation
will cooperate with USA Gymnastics and have interest to participate in the World Gym for Life
Challenge 2013.
