Universiade FISU: Conclusion recommendations
ˇ Universiade 2013
After the 1
st
participation at the Universiade in Shenzhen (CHN), MG informed TC that 24
disciplines have been included in Shenzhen and at this moment, 26 disciplines will be in
Kazan (RUS) 2013. MG asked SL if she get some new information from the KAZAN OC.
SL informed TC that the final decision to include Aerobic as an optional sport in 2013, will
be taken in November.
ˇ Universiade 2015
MG has been informed by the Vice-President of KGA, BK Chung, (KOR) that the OC of
GUAND JOU will ask FISU to include Aerobic in 2015 as an optional sport.
It is very important that the Aerobic Gymnastics should be definitively part of the
Universiade due to the fact that most of the "Senior" competitors, men and women, are
students: this sport meets their motivation and expectations.
Aerobic Gymnastics should be included in the program of the University like it is already
done by some federations.
