World Gymnaestrada Helsinki FIN July 2015
ˇ Evaluation meeting in Helsinki 27-30 October 2011
The time schedule for the World Gymnaestrada 2015 is under preparation and will be discussed
with the local organising committee during the Evaluation Meeting.
Gym for Life 2013
ˇ Joint meeting Cape Town RSA 19-20 November 2011
At this moment, the official invitation is under preparation and expected to be sent to the
national federations in December 2011. The provisional registration deadline will be
July 2012 and the final registration will be open until January 2013.
6. Education
ˇ Foundation course Colombia November 2011 (Peace & Sport)
From 5 10 November 2011 a Foundation Course will be organised in Bogotá, Colombia. This is a
result from the agreement between FIG and Peace & Sport Foundation with the cooperation of the
National Gymnastics Federation of Colombia Federacion Colombiana de Gimnasia.
ˇ Colloquium, "The World Gymnaestrada in the future and World Gym for Life
Challenge 2013" Cape Town RSA 23-27 November 2011
So far, there are 31 participants registered representing 19 national federations. The GfA
Committee is very pleased to realise that this Colloquium will welcome participants from all
continents.
7. Co-operation
ˇ Report from the meeting in Lausanne July 2011
During the World Gymnaestrada 2011 week at the GfA Committee office a meeting with the GfA
representatives from the different Continental Unions was held. Each representative presented
their last events and the significant activities planned for the next years.
8. Publications
ˇ Translation Foundation course material into Spanish
The translation work is finished. The Spanish version will be already used in the next Foundation
course in Colombia and a copy of this new version should be sent to the course experts
